After having been totally turned off of new music in the 80s, from 1993 onwards things changed and I haven't looked back since. Two things changed things for me. The first was MTV that showed Nirvana and Guns 'N' Roses a lot in late '91. The second and more decisive factor, though interconnected, is that I started reading 'Oor' again in the spring of 1993 and found out about all this cool music being released that I otherwise never would have found out about. From the moment my pay got better I could even afford to buy cds more often, leading to quite an impressive collection.
Coming up with a top 30 proved easier than I expected. I'll admit that there may be something missing as I simply lack the time to work on this for hours and hours on end. It gives an impression though. No.1 may actually be the best record ever. We'll find out about that at a later stage.
